Meet Dr. Vladimir Donchev

Dr. Donchev is originally from Bulgaria. He received his medical degree from Medical University – Sofia, Bulgaria. He did surgical residency at Harlem Hospital Center in New York City, an affiliate of Columbia University. Then, he completed a fellowship in Abdominal Multi-Organ Transplant and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Then Dr. Donchev fulfilled his obligations to the US government by serving the medically underserved rural community of Northwest Iowa, where he developed a Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary practice and provided state-of-the-art complex surgical care to those patients close to home. Since 2019 Dr. Donchev has moved to Broward County, Florida and has established his Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary practice here. He is performing complex surgical procedures on the liver, pancreas and bile ducts and is looking to offer superb surgical care to patients in need.
